Whats the best color combo for wooden topwater lures?

It depends on where and what you fishing for. I use more of a gold color whan I am in North Maine for Smallmouths. I use a Shad pattern or green frog colors when I fish at home on the Potomac River. I use a book that has great illistration of North American fish when I airbrush my crankbaits.
