what kind of paint is the best for. plastic swimbaits, crankbaits and lead buzz and spinnerbaits. Just want to know what everyone else uses, I have been using testors model master on my plastics. havent got any paint for the spinner and buzz baits yet.

hey deepsouth44, thanks for the comment about lure parts online. i usually get unpainted spinnerbaits from them but they are out of stock, so i bought a mold to make them myself. as far as paint goes i tried the testors on lead and it does not work. please try pro-tec powder paint. it is amazing!

hey did you get a chance to try that powder paint yet? let me know what you think

you should try the powder paint it is great stuff. CAUTION though make sure that you reheat the lure. even though the lure looks great the paint will chip of easily if you dont. when you do reheat the paint job is practicly indestructable.
