Most bass caught in all turnaments are less than 3 pounds, why use 14 to 17 pound test?

Use 6 pound test & you have 3 pound test left over, if there is brush or grass go to 8 or 10 pound test, plus you have a drag that makes even stronger.

If a bass is heading for grass or brush pull it towards the nasty stuff, all bass have the instinct like children to do the opposite of what you tell them, and they will move to opposite way, to open water.
